While Belton, SC native Brian Latimer (aka B-Lat) is a relative newcomer to the FLW Tour, he grew up fishing regularly with his father, an avid tournament angler, and cut his teeth fishing local tournaments before moving on to regional circuits several years back. In his first year on tour in 2016, Brian finished 3rd in the Rookie of the Year race and 47th in the overall points standings. In his young professional career, Latimer has already proven to be a sharp, adaptive angler able to quickly learn foreign bodies of water and pick up new techniques.
Seth Borton - Adrian College
In three short years at the Bulldogs helm, Borton has developed four Fishing League Worldwide All-Americans All-Americans, coached two boats that finished in the top-20 of the 2016 FLW National Collegiate Championships and guided the team to a No. 1 Cabela's/ Association of Collegiate Anglers national ranking in its first year of existence in Fall 2015. The Bulldogs have been a regular resident high in the college bass fishing national rankings during Borton's tenure.
Remington is a Six Time Michigan State Champion, Regional Champion and Thirteen Time National and World Championships Qualifier. Remington really enjoys the puzzle of figuring out what fish want and demonstrating the techniques in person, on a seminar stage or on camera. Remington is a national seminar speaker and has fast become an industry influencer at only 15 years of age.
Recognition Night for Branden McNamara & Mikey Abbott
Braden McNamara, student at Delaware Hayes High School and fishing partner Mikey Abbott, student at Jonathan Adler High School in Plain City, won the 2019 Jr Bassmaster National Championship on Carroll County 1000 Acre Recreational Lake in Huntingdon, Tennessee August 6-7 .
This was their last year fishing juniors so they decided they were going to try to go out on top and that is what they did.
